I have the most extensive network of longstanding relationships in the online and multichannel retail industry, in which I’ve been an active participant since 1999.

I spent 10 years as Executive Director of Shop.org until August 2010. At Shop.org I grew the membership to 600+ members, launched and grew the Annual Summit from zero to a Fastest 50 trade show. I co-invented “Cyber Monday” in 2005 and conceptualized and launched Cybermonday.com in 2006 as a shopping site and business model that has generated more than $2 million for Shop.org’s scholarship fund.

Following Shop.org, I spent 18+ months as a member of the founding team of Ifeelgoods, which replaces traditional retail incentives with virtual currencies and digital goods. I successfully evangelized Ifeelgoods from zero awareness to being well-known in the ecommerce space. By the time I left, Ifeelgoods had 60+ clients including Gap, Walmart.com, Ice.com, FTD, Meijer, Shoebuy.com and 1-800-Flowers.com.

I am passionate and intellectually curious about digital retail, cross-channel, social media, digital marketing, social gaming, virtual goods and e-commerce. I occasionally share my thoughts about these topics on my blog. I have an extensive network of industry relationships.

A frequent speaker and spokesperson for the industry, I’ve been quoted in hundreds of articles in major news outlets including USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, CNBC, The New York Times, NPR, BusinessWeek, The Washington Post. I am open to speaking opportunities – keynote presentations as well as building and moderating panel discussions.
